It is with great sadness we announce that LBM founder and owner Tim Bobo passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023, after a hard (and often silent) battle with cancer.
For 23 years, Tim and his team brought resounding success and provided technical diligence to his clients and colleagues in the digital and eLearning landscape. Those of us left behind would like to offer our profound gratitude to Tim for bringing together such talented, diverse and conscientious teams of people. It is with further sadness we announce that upon Tim’s passing, Left Brain Media ceased to exist, as it was his request. His creation and dream were fulfilled.
It was Tim’s dying wish that the relationships he fostered among his team and his clients continue on. To honor him and show our loyalty to each other and our clients, our team has begun a new chapter with an established full-service digital agency where we will remain committed to providing quality and continuity of services.

Tim Ray Bobo
October 27, 1967—May 12, 2023
Tim Ray Bobo, age 55, was born October 27, 1967, and went to be with his Lord on May 12, 2023, after battling cancer for more than three years. He was raised in Texas and stayed there throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. John Bobo, who welcomed him home to heaven. He is survived by his mother, Shirley Bobo; his wife, the love of his life, Sylvie Bobo; his children: Casey Bobo, Jonathan Bobo and his wife, Olivia, and Percy Bobo; and his siblings, Roy Bobo and Sherry Bobo.
A 1986 graduate of LD Bell High School, Tim attended Baylor University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in religion with a minor in computer science in 1990, then a master’s degree in religious education in 1995 from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
He started his ministry as a youth pastor at Live Oak Baptist Church in Gatesville from 1987–1990, then at First Baptist Church Keller from 1990–1993. He then served as associate pastor at Bear Valley Community Church until 1996. Tim worked for two years at Perot Systems, then started Left Brain Media, creating his own programs to develop eLearning for clients. He loved working with his loyal employees who became family to him and stood by his side all these years.
Tim Bobo was passionate about life and about people. He loved his family, friends, T & P neighbors, and loyal employees. His children meant the world to him and are forever treasured in his heart. His fur baby, Herbie, gave him much love and companionship. Tim will always be known for his humor, entertaining with magic tricks and enjoying life. He liked playing with cards, whether playing a poker game or showing a magic trick. You would rarely see Tim without a deck of cards close by.
He loved being Sylvie’s “cowboy” and traveling with her, exploring new adventures and restaurants in Fort Worth and abroad. Throughout their marriage, she supported him through treatments while they took advantage of every opportunity to enjoy their life together with their many trips and adventures.
He was always there to help out friends and family. He had a passion for people experiencing homelessness. He would take them out to eat and be a listening ear and show them God’s love.
He is missed by many.
